AEG utilizes precision techniques to establish high-quality design and construction-phase surveying. We use a variety of measurement, data collection, and positioning tools and techniques to accomplish our clients’ goals. We implement specific quality control measures to ensure accuracy of plans and data when coordinating survey information between field and office. Each survey crew has a full complement of modern survey equipment including GPS robotic units, conventional survey instruments, and digital levels. Our crews are well-versed in the art and science of completing boundary surveys, topographic mapping, 3-D scanning, and construction stake-out. Prior to final delivery, the product is always checked and rechecked by both field and office staff for completeness and accuracy. Our staff professionals are licensed to provide services in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.

AEG has been involved with surveying for projects including highway, bridge, BMP, railroad, ADA ramp, multi-modal facility, and trail projects. We employ survey personnel who are trained in conducting field activities and have met the training requirements established by OSHA.

Utilizing the initial primary project control, AEG employs Geodetic grade GPS equipment and differential leveling techniques in conjunction with conventional 3D data collection using reflector-less and robotic total stations, allowing our survey staff to determine geographic positions precisely and efficiently.
